This December, we’ve introduced payment methods in the store, expanded store SEO possibilities, added videos to the product cards, and launched Weblium referral program.

Stripe and manual payment in your store

Finally, you can accept online payments directly through your store with Stripe — a trusted payment provider used in 42 countries. It supports most major credit/debit cards and currencies. Besides, we’ve introduced the manual payment option if you prefer offline payment. More payment methods are to appear in the upcoming weeks!

Setting store visibility in the search results

Control the visibility of your store to the search engines like Google and Bing with a single click. Now you can hide the product pages, store homepage, and categories pages from the search without affecting other website pages. This will come in handy to prepare content before you launch your store.

Open Graph markup for the store

We’ve added Open Graph markup for the store products and categories. Now when you share the links on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., they will display image previews, page titles, descriptions, and product prices.

Product sorting on the category page

You as the store owner can now decide on the product order on the category page. The sorting options include: by name, by price, and new on top. Moreover, the available products always show higher than those out of stock.

Video in the product cards

Sometimes images aren’t good enough to showcase the brilliance of your products. Add video product reviews from YouTube to display your products from different angles and introduce some examples in-use.

New product statuses: pre-order and coming soon

On top of the “in stock” and “out of stock” statuses, your products can be “available on pre-order” and “coming soon”. Use them to let your customers purchase the products even if they aren’t immediately available in your store.

Mass actions for products

Managing your products is now easier with the mass actions available on the products page. Select multiple products and change their statuses, add products to categories, or delete them completely.

New block ID for easier custom coding

We’ve updated the block ID in the settings, so now it properly reflects the published version. This means that you can add custom code to interact with a particular block on your website, and the proper block ID is right at your fingertips.

Pop-ups order

If you have multiple pop-ups on the same page, it’s best to turn on the sequential display so they appear one by one, not at the same time. Besides, you can change the pop-up order in the list of all pop-ups with a simple drag-and-drop.

Advanced text settings

As a part of our long-term commitment to improving the site loading speed, we’ve introduced some updates to the fonts in the editor. Now they load much faster and smoother. To achieve better results, we disabled the automatic appearance of the special characters in certain languages (e.g., Polish, Greek, etc.). You can enable them on a website basis, in the text settings. Just select the set of the characters that is a part of your language, and re-publish the website.
